Benefits
of Working with Us

We tailor our projects to the customer – from the initial study, audit, project documentation, to turnkey implementation with a guarantee of predicted savings, including grant consulting and potential project financing through savings.

Efficiency

While it might seem at first that efficiency is determined only by basic parameters (such as power consumption), we know from experience that this is not the case. Other significant parameters include lifespan, maintenance and operating costs, cash flow costs, costs of (non)compliance with legislative requirements, and others. We always approach projects with a comprehensive view.

Lifespan

Energy-saving projects are often investment-heavy. Therefore, they must be designed with both physical and moral lifespan in mind for many years ahead. We always keep this in mind when selecting technologies.

Flexibility

We are aware that customer requirements often change and evolve. When designing solutions, we take this into account and always look for options that will allow future, often undefined development needs. We adapt our company's management to ensure that we remain a reliable long-term partner.

Solutions
What We Do

Public Lighting

For many decades, public lighting was based on the same simple principle of poles, lamps, and corresponding distribution systems. However, due to technological advances and increasing demands for services in specific areas, there has been a significant shift in recent years.

Public lighting today can be much more energy-efficient than in the past, and at the same time, it is becoming a carrier of many additional functions that improve services in public spaces – such as charging infrastructure for cars, bikes, localization or communication systems.

A key topic is the reduction of light pollution, especially with respect to the inhabitants of specific areas. Thanks to the digitalization of public lighting operations, additional savings can be achieved. Finally, public lighting can contribute to the development of blue-green infrastructure where tree planting is not feasible for technical reasons.

Tailored Solutions

Given these facts, we design projects for Design & Build services tailored to the specific space, taking into account both current and future requirements. From the initial study, preparation of project documentation, obtaining building permits, to turnkey implementation and subsequent service or monitoring through the public lighting dispatch center.

Grants and Financing

We know that in many municipalities, public lighting has been operated on "investment debt." We have prepared financing programs for the modernization of public lighting, including the use of grants. This allows our customers to spread the investment over time and start saving on electricity immediately.

Interior Lighting

Although replacing lighting may seem like a trivial project, experience shows that many mistakes can occur in this area, leading to unnecessary higher consumption, failure to meet hygiene standards, or additional costs for repairs or replacements. Seemingly cheaper solutions often end up being much more expensive.

Therefore, we always design projects in compliance with applicable regulations (risks of non-compliance with health and safety standards), transparently communicate our lighting/technical calculations (we do not manipulate calculations), and look for opportunities for additional savings (regulation, walkway lighting).

In addition to space lighting, we offer a range of innovative products for specific needs (architectural lighting, disinfection lighting, lighting for specialized control workplaces, etc.).

Tailored Solutions

For the projects we handle, we estimate investment costs, conduct lighting and technical calculations, prepare economic evaluations from both an energy perspective (savings in kWh, reserved power, etc.) and an economic perspective (investment amount, simple payback, financing, IRR), carry out turnkey implementation or collaborate with local installation companies or maintenance staff, and ensure warranty and post-warranty service, including remote monitoring via the dispatch center.

Grants and Financing

Many energy-saving projects are/will be supported by grant programs. In the case of meeting the criteria from the customer's construction, we ensure the preparation of documentation for the application and guarantee compliance with the technical criteria of the grant program.

Photovoltaic Power Plants

Photovoltaic power plants (FVE) are a significant and often a priority topic for many organizations and businesses. However, their operation often requires broader thinking than it might seem at first glance.

Photovoltaic power plants are strongly supported by the state and provide a source of very cheap electricity. However, they are not always utilized efficiently. When designing the appropriate size, we consider the broader context, seeking to prioritize the use of produced energy within the facility throughout the year. We look for opportunities in regulating consumption, considering battery storage, hot water systems, and preheating heat sources.

We actively participate in the development of legislation and the subsequent introduction of photovoltaic power-sharing models in practice for apartment buildings, urban and municipal communities, and businesses. We also develop suitable technical solutions for these applications.

Tailored Solutions

For those interested in photovoltaic power plants, we guide them through the entire investment process. From initial cost estimates and other economic indicators to feasibility studies based on local conditions and consumption (site, building, urban communities, etc.), we handle the application for grid connection and possible grants, prepare the project for building permits (if needed), fire safety solutions, structural assessments, obtaining the building permit, turnkey implementation, the first parallel connection, and subsequent service or monitoring.

Grants and Financing

There are many grant programs available for building photovoltaic power plants. We will select the appropriate and available program, prepare the necessary documentation according to the grant program, and we are also prepared to propose financing models for specific projects or to implement photovoltaic power plants at our own cost and supply electricity at a pre-agreed price (PPA).

Energy Storage

Storing produced electricity in batteries can be an appropriate solution for many projects. However, the concept of their deployment requires a broader perspective to ensure that the investment pays off in the shortest time with the highest economic effect. Primarily, batteries are suitable for storing excess electricity from a photovoltaic power plant for later consumption. In many cases, they are also used to stabilize electricity supply, especially in areas with power outages or poor-quality power distribution, which impacts higher defect rates or production interruptions, leading to losses from downtime.

A suitable application could be ensuring the availability of electricity in case of grid outages (backup power supply) or reducing the reserved capacity of the distribution network, which always positively impacts the overall economy of the project.

Tailored Solutions

Based on the above areas, we will propose the appropriate size of the battery and its usage, including integration with existing building management systems or propose other suitable IT solutions for maximizing the investment’s return.

Grants and Financing

For the construction of photovoltaic power plants with battery storage, there are (depending on the type of organization) various grant programs available. We will select the appropriate and available program, prepare the necessary documentation according to the grant program.

Customer
Segments

Commercial Sector

Shopping Centers

For shopping centers, we usually handle interior lighting upgrades for sales areas, technical spaces, and outdoor areas, and integrate them with existing building management systems for regulation and maximizing savings while maintaining the required comfort. Other topics include installing photovoltaic power plants on rooftops or CarPortech (roofed parking lots with photovoltaic power plants).

Logistics Centers

Logistics centers often seek solutions for automating lighting operations and optimizing it (lighting where and when needed). In the field of photovoltaic power plants, key topics are directed partly toward powering lighting and offices, and mostly toward connecting systems for heating or cooling. In the future, we anticipate greater use of rooftop spaces in photovoltaic power-sharing models among businesses or operations. While this is not yet widespread in the Czech Republic, we see the future in using large spaces for installing photovoltaic power plants for H2 production and its subsequent use as fuel for handling equipment.

Manufacturing Companies

Manufacturing companies often look for solutions for flexible lighting in their operations, ideally with automatic regulation based on natural light input, and for solutions that require minimal maintenance. Many rooftops, outdoor areas, or parking lots are suitable for installing photovoltaic power plants, which can help rapidly reduce operational energy costs. Particularly in 24/7 operations, high efficiency is achieved. For businesses without permanent operations, the possibility of selling electricity during non-working hours to communities, cities, or agreements with traders can be considered.

Public Administration

Schools and Nurseries

Typical requests from these customer groups are for reducing energy consumption for lighting, automatic regulation based on natural light and movement in classrooms, and meeting hygiene standards for ensuring a healthy environment for people.

Sports Facilities

Sports facilities, whether indoor or outdoor, typically invest in lighting modernization, with the level of control depending on how the facility is used. In many cases, upgrading the lighting and installing basic control systems is sufficient. In others, projects are carried out with consideration for potential international competitions or television broadcasts. Gymnasium roofs often offer suitable space for the installation of photovoltaic power plants, which can be used year-round for domestic hot water heating and on-site energy consumption—sometimes also as a power source for cooling systems.

Municipally-Owned Buildings

Buildings owned by cities and municipalities still have significant untapped potential for energy savings. A large number of them are still awaiting major energy modernization. Replacing lighting or installing photovoltaic systems for on-site consumption provides an opportunity for quick measures with an almost immediate positive impact on operating costs. Roofs and other surfaces offer great future potential for municipal community energy projects, which can significantly reduce costs. To realize this potential within a few years, preparation must begin now.
